  • Q – What is Austech ?

    A – Austech Institute is an Australian owned technology training institute aimed at “training for IT jobs”. Our courses are classroom-based, instructor-led with hands-on training, we also offer live virtual training from time to time.

  • Q – Is Austech Institute an authorised training provider?

    A – We are a nationally accredited Registered Training Organisation (RTO), recognised by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) within the Australian Government.

    We only use training materials that the relevant vendor has authorised. This ensures that we always provide an in-depth and up-to-date exploration of topics.

  • Q – I wish to join a course in a few weeks, can I get the course material earlier?

    A – Yes, please book online, visit our office on weekdays during business hours, pay the course fee, fill out the registration form and we will issue the course material. This will give you some time to familiarise yourself with it before the course commences.

  • Q – What is the cost of training at Austech Institute?

    A – The training cost is competitive. Cost varies depending on the course selected and the timing of the course.

  • Q – Is the training at Austech Institute sufficient to pass the vendor certification exams?

    A – Passing the exam is dependent on many factors, therefore it is not possible to provide a firm to this questions, however our courses are instructor-led, hands-on practice is provided as well. We try to support our students as much as possible to assist in their exam preparation.

  • Q – What are the course timings?

    A – We offer numerous course timings e.g. Full-Time (Weekdays) Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm, Part-Time (Weeknights) Mondays and Tuesdays or Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Part-Time (Weekends) Saturday or Sunday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

  • Q – Can I switch from full-time to part-time or vice-versa once the training has commenced?

    A – It is not possible to move between full-time to part-time course or vice versa once the training has commenced.

  • Q – What are Austech Institute’s instructors’ qualifications?

    A – Our instructors are professionals with industry experience.

  • Q – How can I register for training at Austech Institute?

    A – Our upcoming training dates are listed on the website on the relevant page; students can register by clicking on the “Enroll” button and filling in the form. Booking for a course is compulsory as seats are limited. Booking for a course closes once the required number of students have registered.

  • Q – Where are classes held?

    A – Our classes are conveniently held in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide training centers.

  • Q – Is public transport available to reach training centers?

    A – All our training centers are easily accessible by public transport.

  • Q – Is parking available close to training centers?

    A – Yes, there is free and paid parking close to our training centers.

  • Q – Is course material provided?

    A – Yes, course material is provided for all courses.

  • Q – Does Austech Institute protect my privacy?

    A – Austech is obliged to comply with the Privacy Act. We never give out your personal details to third parties and commit to keeping your information safe.

  • Q – What happens if I want to enrol in a course, but can’t afford it?

    A – We hope to make it easier for more people to enjoy studying with us. As part of this, we offer flexible payment plans for a selection of our courses so you can make smaller, regular payments for your course and study when it’s right for you.

    If you’re currently employed and are planning to enrol in a course that benefits your professional work, your employer may be interested in covering the cost of your course. We are happy to help you with this by supplying you with information to share with your employer.

  • Q – What payment methods do you accept?

  • Q – Is there a minimum literacy & numeracy requirement I need to meet before I can enrol in courses?

    A -We expect our students to have literacy & numeracy skills approximate to what you may have achieved in high school.

  • Q – Do I need to have competent English skills to study at IT?

    A – Our students need to be able to read, write and speak in English because this is the language our courses are written and delivered in.
